What will the dry-land testing entail?

The Canadian Sport Institute Calgary (CSI Calgary) will be delivering dry-land and on-ice testing on day 2 of the International Combine. CSI Calgary provides athlete testing and sport science solutions to Canada’s Olympic, Paralympic, and National Team Athletes, including being the trusted testing partner to the Calgary Flames. How many games will you get to play in?

In the boys program, every athlete will play in a minimum of four games (on days 3 and 4). Based on their performance, they may also be selected to play in the Top Prospects or Future Prospects showcase games on day 5. In the girls program, every athlete will play three games.

What is included with your registration?

The International Combine provides excellent value to families and athletes. Registration includes dry-land and on-ice testing sessions run by Canada Sports Institute Calgary, a minimum of four games for boys and three games for girls, two evening player development workshops, three lunches, jersey, socks and warm up shirt. Athletes in the girls program also have two on-ice development sessions.

What meals are included?

Every athlete will receive lunch on days 2, 3 and 4. Lunch will be served at the mezzanine at the 7 Chiefs Sportsplex. Athletes and families staying at the Grey Eagle Resort & Casino will also receive breakfast.

Can you get a deal on accommodation?

The official accommodation partner of the International Combine is the Grey Eagle Resort & Casino. Their hotel is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the rinks and a stay at the hotel includes breakfast for athletes and families. Check the location page for more details.
